The Fargo Renaissance
Since the implementation of the Renaissance Zone in downtown Fargo in 1999, investment in projects has exceeded $65 million.
NDSU is continuing their campus expansion downtown through the purchase of two historic buildings which could potentially increase student and faculty traffic of between 2,000 to 4,000 people per day.
The downtown central business district is a vibrant commercial area providing unique opportunities for shopping, housing, business and entertainment. Progress in the downtown area continues with historic properties refurbished to retail use at street level and condos on upper levels.
